FURTHER EDUCATION AND SIXTH FORM COLLEGES SEMINAR 2010The Further Education and Sixth Form College Seminar will be taking place from 2.00pm on Friday 9th April until Saturday 5.30pm 10th April 2009 at the James Watt Centre, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. The seminar will provide an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues affecting college members. As well as updates on national negotiations and policy developments, there will be workshops and presentations on a range of issues such as campaigning against redundancies, UNISON’s structures review, equality, job evaluation etc. There will also be regional meetings and a meeting for sixth form delegates. We wish to be as flexible as possible and will try to accommodate requests for other side meetings at the seminar. If any members of self-organised groups would like the opportunity to meet, this will be accommodated. Can you please indicate whether you would like this to happen. If you are interesting in attending and representing your college, or require any further details, please contact the Branch Office on 01245 354044. Registration for this Seminar needs to be by Thursday 25th March so please get in touch if you would like to attend. |
