Joint Careers/Connexions and Youth and Community Workers' SeminarThere is to be a seminar for UNISON reps and stewards working in the Careers/Connexions sector and UNISON members working in the Youth and Community sector. This will be held on Tuesday 9th February 2010, at Friends House, Euston Road, London NW1. The seminar will run from 10.30am - 4pm. Members working with young people are facing many difficult issues and this seminar will enable members to network, share ideas and discuss common concerns. It is planned to include sessions for youth and community workers and Connexions workers to meet separately to discuss issues relevant to their area of work. The seminar will provide an opportunity to discuss a range of issues affecting members in the sector. There will also be keynote speakers from the DCSF and there will be a variety of workshops which include:
