Three stars and a day off (for all?)

Branch officers have begun to negotiate with ECC on the implementation and effects of the move to individual living allowances managed by clients themselves. The main implication seems to be that a lot of work will be outsourced, in theory to social partners but in UNISON's view probably to the 'usual suspects' - the companies and voluntary sector organisations that already have a lot of this work..

Libraries management restructuring.

The library service management restructuring has more or less been completed as far as we know. Any member still having problems is asked to contact Colin Moody (Harlow library)and Andrew Coburn (Goldlay Gardens) in the first instance.
